Influencing factors driving collaboration in circular business models

The transition from a linear to Circular Economy is considered revolutionary step toward greener economy. Ensuring successful requires radical changes in our current siloed approach applying circular business models. Such models aim mitigate negative environmental impact whilst fostering growth and prosperity. This research focuses on three (‘Circular Supply’, ‘Resource Recovery’ ‘Product-Life-Extension’). It aims explore their collaborative aspects influencing factors the process towards ecosystems. By theoretical lens of Social Capital Theory, with its characteristics bonding, linking bridging, findings revealed snapshot practices various industry sectors. In addition, for specific Business Models were identified based seven categories of: (1) Awareness/Social/Community; (2) Workplace Environment; (3) Material; (4) Customer Market demand; (5) political standards, (6) Perception individual standards/expertise, (7) Communication skills. Finally, used offer practical insights organizations beginning journey, being mapped alongside CBMs.
